How to Get Free In-Store Pickup at 30+ Stores

posted in: Shopping Tips

It’s your day off and you have several errands to run. The hope is that you can zip from place to place without delays, and “click & pickup” services make that possible! Here’s a list of over 30 retailers that offer online ordering with free in-store pickup or even curbside pickup in some cases.

Looking for the best stores with free in-store pickup? Here's a roundup of which places you can order online and pick up in store! #instorepickup #free #beststores

A few things to note:

  • Pick up services are not available at all locations, so double check the store location before you check out online.
  • After a specified time, retailers will not prepare an order for same day pickup. If you need your items today, order earlier in the day.
  • Stores will not hold your order forever (you usually have between 2-14 days to pick up). Make sure you know how much time you have.
  • While some orders are retrieved at Custom Service, other stores have designated kiosks for in-store pickup. There should be an indication of the pickup location on your email confirmation.
  • When picking up, be sure to bring your ID, the credit card you used, and a copy of your order (either on your phone or printed out).

Amazon

If you’d rather pick up your Amazon order instead of having it delivered to home, try Amazon Locker. There are Lockers around the country at a variety of Whole Foods stores and convenience stores, and Amazon will ship to a Locker for free for Prime members. Use this link to search for an Amazon Locker near you.

Apple

When you’re browsing the product pages, you will see the option to check availability for store pickup. You search by zip code and then by store. You’ll also be able to determine whether the item is available today (usually within the hour), and you’ll receive a notification when the item is ready for pickup.
