What people are saying about OneTake
M.K., Public Relations Executive, Trade Coffee
“Trae is the most efficient and effective media trainer we have ever worked with. She quickly got to the root of the issue that was causing my client to have a challenging time with interviews and provided solutions in a kind way that made it all conversational. We started to see improvements immediately and have been able to book the client on several segments since. Would absolutely recommend working with her!!”
C.C., Senior Executive, L’Oreal
“For many years, I gave in-person media presentations as part of my work, which were occasionally also filmed. But when the Covid pandemic struck earlier this year, I along with the rest of the world had to move my in-person work almost completely to virtual. And while I had some experience working on-camera, I was very eager not to miss a beat with this switch to digital. Suddenly virtual media training was an essential skill – and I did not yet have the confidence there that I did with my in-person presentations.
So I turned to Trae Bodge, who brought the credibility, humanity, wisdom, honesty and direction I was seeking. She expertly led me through the many technical and logistical aspects of conducting a successful online presentation or meeting – and I was thrilled to walk away after just one session with insights and relevant tips on everything from camera angles, lighting. sound, propping and background to make-up and hair. Best of all, Trae’s advice was both encouraging and practical – as well as completely tailored to me. She answered all of my questions, and I loved that she also had several questions for me – she was committed to ensuring that I would be able to easily execute all of her advice. She followed up our appointment with a written list of her suggestions, including some terrific “smart shopping” tips, which I greatly appreciated – with Trae’s help, I learned that you don’t need to break the bank to create a topnotch virtual setup in-home!
In our follow-up session after my next virtual presentation, she made me feel great about what we had accomplished together. Thanks to Trae, I now approach my virtual sessions with newfound enthusiasm and confidence. I could not recommend Trae’s personalized and expert virtual media training service more highly!”
J.G., Wellness Expert/Author
“I met Trae a few years ago at an influencer event and was impressed with her presence, energy and intelligence. When I was getting ready for a publicity blitz which I knew would include some television, I reached out to her for the latest TV-specific coaching. Her insights have definitely come in handy, especially in this new world of virtual interviews. I highly recommend her to anyone needing the basics or (like me) a refresher, more advanced skills, and key for this season in particular, adapting your skills to the new world of Zoom, Skype and home shoots. Trae is also ideal for preparing yourself for particular programs; chances are this TV veteran has been on that show and can share invaluable insider tips!”
B.H., former Senior Director, Corporate Communications, Trip Advisor
“Trae Bodge is the consummate broadcast spokesperson and her years in the seat and in front of the camera have taught her the mastery of how to communicate on-air. Trae knows that the preparation for an interview matters as much as the interview itself and has helped train other executives on how to maximize the total appearance…from what to wear, what make-up to use (and how to apply it) and how to deliver an impactful message in 3-minutes or less no matter if it is on the local TV news, national programming or a radio station broadcasting across America.”
J.F., former Technology & Product Executive, RetailMeNot
“As an executive, I frequently engage in external speaking opportunities. The majority of these opportunities are analyst, print, or industry-based events. Articulating the company message was something I am familiar with, but the broadcast medium and message changes a lot when you are dealing with a 2-minute spot vs. a 30-minute panel. Trae helped prepare me for Satellite Media Tours that I was doing on behalf of my company. Trae’s knowledge and experience in the industry helped me get up to speed quickly, stay on point throughout our broadcasts, communicate with clarity, and articulate the correct message depending on audience and interviewer style. I highly recommend Trae and look forward to working with her again in the future!”
