Father’s Day Gifts Under $50

posted in: Gift Guides

Is it just me or are Father’s Day gifts getting better? My inaugural Father’s Day gift guide was in 2010, and I had to dig deep to find things beyond socks and “#1 Dad” tees. Those traditional gifts are still around but I am blown away by all the available options today. Things like must-have tech gifts, tasty treats, and unique personalized gifts are making gift-giving fun this year. Here are my top picks for Father’s Day gifts on a budget.

JLab GO Talk ($49) & JLab GO Cam ($40)

For the Dad who dreams of having his own podcast, this microphone and camera will set him up for success. They are stylish enough to sit on his desk – and he’ll feel so legit. Both items took me about 3 minutes to set up and pair with my computer and I was ready to broadcast!

Gentlemen’s Hardware Garden Multi-Tool ($29)

Is he the guy who strolls around the yard, admiring his garden? He will love this pocket-sized tool that he can use to clip stems, remove weeds, and snip dead leaves.

Putt-A-Bout Par 3 Golf Putting Green (originally $49.99, now $36.79 on Amazon)

This popular and sturdy home putting green with sand trap cutouts and a non-skid backing allows him to practice his putt whenever the mood strikes. When not in use, it rolls up for easy storage.

Fresh Clean Tees Signature Tees 3-Pack ($44)

This site offers neutral colors of size-inclusive durable tees in a variety of styles. From June 6-9, save 15 percent off sitewide + free expedited shipping on orders $60+.

Ricardo Beverly Hills Packing Travel Essentials 2.0 Garment Carrier (Originally $100, now $49.99)

He probably hasn’t traveled much since the Pandemic hit, so why not give him a gift that will make his next trip more stylish and streamlined? This 5-star reviewed garment carrier is chic and simple for a quick trip away.

Arc Lighter & Flashlight ($24.99)

A campsite must-have, this lightweight and rechargeable LED flashlight provides 100 lumens but it also has a spring-loaded bezel with a dual-arc plasma lighter inside, which offers a 1400 degree burn for fast lighting, even in windy conditions.

Supplant x Thomas Keller Chocolate Bars ($31.99 for a 5-pack)If your sweet tooth Dad is trying to watch his sugar, this set of small-batch chocolate bars made in partnership with Chef Thomas Keller in Napa Valley uses Venezuelan cocoa beans and Supplant’s sugars from fiber. These sugars are a blend made from upcycled crops and are lower-calorie and have a lower blood sugar response.  The set includes 5 yummy flavors, including Coffee Milk Chocolate and Orange Dark Chocolate.

Home Dough ($48 for a variety pack of 24 cookie dough balls)If he’s not much of a cook but craves home-baked cookies, this yummy, preservative-free, frozen cookie dough will be waiting in his freezer for when the craving strikes. Home Dough is available in three delicious flavors: Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Toffee, and Molasses Ginger Spice.

Sugar Plum Manly Nut Box ($38 on Amazon)

For the guy who goes nuts for nuts, this multipack includes six 4oz bags of kettle-cooked nuts in unique flavors, including Honey Sea Salt Almonds, Coconut Curry Peanuts, and Mexican Cocoa Peanut.

Mark T. Wendell Tea Company Yunnan Tea Brick ($25)

If Dad has absolutely everything, this is the gift for him. This “tea brick” is made of compressed Yunnan black tea, an ancient tradition from the Chinese Ming Dynasty.
