Skullcandy EcoBuds in-Ear Wireless Earbuds ($39.99, Amazon)
I never imagined that earbuds could be eco-friendly, but here we are! The Ecobuds have a 50 percent reduction in carbon footprint due to a battery-free case design and 65 percent certified recycled plastics. They also contain 57 percent less heavy metals, and the packaging is 100 percent recyclable. And because there is no lithium battery, they are extra lightweight and compact.
Use the sweatproof earbuds together or separately for music, podcasts, phone calls, and more, and they each have a playtime of 8 hours. And while the case doesn’t have a battery like typical earbuds, Ecobuds can be charged from your phone using the integrated USB-C cable–no cords to remember! A 10-minute charge will give you two hours of audio playtime.
