It’s the beginning of the month, so let’s dive into what to buy and skip this month.
This month, most of the deep discounts will be available over Labor Day weekend.
Here’s what to buy and what to wait on:
BUY
• Labor Day: mattresses, appliances, & furniture
• Summer clearance
• School supplies
• Beauty: Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty sale is going strong through September 18.
SKIP
• Fall apparel. It will be in the stores, but you will pay close to full price.
• Tech, unless it’s last-gen, like older iPhone models, as the new 18s are launching. I’m also seeing some decent laptop deals. Remember to ask for education pricing if you have a student with an i.d. or an .edu email address.
