Tomorrow marks the beginning of the month, so let’s dive into what to buy/wait on!
BUY:
• Tech: We’ll see sales rolling throughout the month, but the sweet spot will be Thanksgiving week during Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales
• Small home appliances: November is the ideal time to get that air fryer you’ve had your eye on or that vacuum your young adult has been asking for
WAIT:
• Toys: Please see my note below in case you have a hot toy on your list, but otherwise, toys tend to be more deeply discounted in December
• Winter apparel/accessories: Wait on cold-weather items until December.
IMPORTANT:
Because of all the tariff drama we’ve been experiencing all year, things are going to be weird.
For example:
* We may experience some supply chain issues due to retailers pulling back on their holiday orders due to tariff uncertainty
* The MSRP of many items will be higher, and it’s possible that discounts will not be as deep as retailers try to keep their books balanced.
