This month’s post is all about products I love so much that I’m scraping the bottom. While finishing a product may not seem like a big deal, if you could see the traffic jam of products in my beauty closet, you’d understand. I have the privilege of testing countless beauty products all year long, so I tend to be fairly disloyal, bouncing from product to product so I can try as many as I can. These four products, however, I will use to the end and purchase when I need more.
Too Cool for School Ziukoza Lip & Eye Makeup Remover ($12 at Sephora)
Ready for any challenge, this makeup remover makes quick work of even the toughest makeup formulas, dissolving and removing everything from waterproof mascara to all-day lipstick formulas with no scrubbing. I love that it doesn’t cause my eyes to sting! It leaves no oily residue, yet it doesn’t dry out my eye area.
Dove Dry Oil Moisture Nourishing Body Wash ($5.49 at Target)
This ultra moisturizing body wash has a subtle, gender-neutral scent that is warm and sensual. Its low lather is ideal for cleaning the body as well as shaving – it’s a family favorite in my house!
Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Featherlight Styling Cream ($26 at Amazon)
This is one of the few styling products that I don’t have to blend with something else. Curly girls will know what I’m talking about! It has the perfect blend of hold and moisture and it’s effects are easily refreshed the next day with a dollop mixed with water. I also appreciate that the scent is faint and doesn’t leave my hair smelling like a tropical cocktail.
Golden Door Daily Renewal Treatment ($88 GoldenDoor.com)
Don’t let the fresh and lightweight feeling of these serum fool you! This intensive formulation is loaded with exfoliating acids, including Alpha Hydroxy, Lactic, Glycolic, Malic and Tartaric, which smooth and tone the skin in a matter of days. I love the slightly citrusy scent and that it absorbs quickly enough to be used during the day (I use it at night, too).
