CBD is one of my favorite ingredients. It has been a popular topic of conversation these days largely due to the recent legalization of marijuana in several states combined with an influx of new studies about its benefits, which include reducing redness, soreness, and stress both internally and externally.
In case you’re not familiar, CBD stands for Cannabidiol, which is an extract from the cannabis plant. Marijuana is also from the cannabis plant, but don’t worry, these products contain very little to no THC, which is the ingredient in marijuana that makes you feel loopy.
I’ve written about CBD products before, but I wanted to start from scratch and find all new and innovative favorites. I’ve been tasting and testing for the past few months and am delighted to share my findings!
Note that CBD products tend to be on the pricey side (and well worth it!), so before checking out, make sure to use deal sites to look for savings.
Ingestible CBD Products
There are so many ways to consume CBD, including tinctures, drinks, and even chocolate! Here are several that I’ve been enjoying lately.
Juna AM/PM Set ($74)
This duo of Juna’s bestselling organic CBD tinctures is designed to clear brain fog in the morning with the Balance formula and encourage a good nights’ sleep with the Nightcap formula. The Balance formula contains CBD and Full-Spectrum Hemp Oil as well as MCT, which is known to help with brain activity. The Nightcap formula contains CBD plus CBN–another extract from the Cannabis plant which is known to be sedating–as well as Chamomile and Passion Flower.
RESET Bioscience Foundation Broad Spectrum Formula ($89.99)
This sweet-tasting hemp-derived broad-spectrum extract is dispensed by a dropper like a typical CBD tincture, but because it’s a water-soluble liquid rather than an oil, you can drop it into your mouth or mix it into your beverage of choice. It’s also encapsulated into nanoparticles for faster absorption of 4x cannabinoids so don’t have to take as much as you typically would.
Kamu Dream Liposomal Drops ($59.95)
Do you have trouble sleeping? These Full-Spectrum CBD + Melatonin drops use liposomal technology to ensure maximum absorption. You take the formula orally 30 minutes before bed to encourage a night of deep, high-quality sleep.
Medterra Wellness Eye Health Capsules ($59.99)
These daily-use liposomal capsules help to create calm while targeting eye strain with Ultra Broad Spectrum CBD and ingredients like Goji Berry, Bilberry, and Gingko Biloba. With all the screentime these days, our eyes could use a little help!
Pachamama Variety Pack ($15.99)
Want to try a little bit of everything? This pack contains 6 different tinctures in one clever pack. There are formulas for immunity, sleep, and preventing inflammation. At only $15.99, it’s an affordable way to see what formulas work best for you.
The Hemp Division Boom Tea ($12)
This tea, which contains 22mg of CBD, black tea, coconut pieces, and raw cacao nibs, is a tasty morning or afternoon boost. The Hemp Division has several other delicious CBD teas, including Sleep, Focus, and Calm.
Green Roads CBD Chocolate Bar 180mg ($19.99)
Chocolate lovers will enjoy indulging in this delicious bar of small-batch artisanal chocolate! Each piece contains 15mg of CBD from American-Farmed Hemp, and I would suggest taking 1-2 pieces per sitting.
Or, if you’d like to try a little bit of everything–and the chocolate–get the Self-Care Relax Bundle, which contains bath bombs, CBD capsules, samples of gummies and more, for $99.99 (value $121.96).
Xtract Energy (12-pack, $41.99)
My husband is an energy drink guy so I gave him this one to test. He was an instant fan, remarking on the fact that it didn’t give him heartburn like other energy drinks. The sugar-free drink contains B vitamins and caffeine supply the boost, as well as 20mg of CBD isolate, which helps to curb the jitters that are often a side effect of energy drinks. Available in Berry or Citrus, or a combo pack.
Unity Sampler ($41.44 for 6)
I find CBD drinks to be a good substitute for alcoholic beverages, especially if you are trying to cut back. These refreshing drinks contain a blend of relaxing ingredients, including Ashwagandha, Gingko Biloba, and 30mg CBD. Each sample pack contains a mix of three flavors, which could include Strawberry Lemonade, Blackberry Tea, Elderflower Rose, and other tasty flavors.
Upsy Align Balance Act CBD Beverage Blend ($36 for 10 packets)
These portable powder packets contain 20mg of organic, hemp-derived CBD and lemon flavor from lemon juice and lemon oil. The powder can be dissolved in cold or hot liquids (I use them in seltzer, which creates a yummy foam when mixed with the powder). Can be used anytime, day or at night.
Pure Craft Nano Infused CBD Gummies ($55 for 30)
Gummies are a popular–and yummy–way to enjoy CBD. Each vegan Pure Craft gummy contains 25mg of USA-grown Nano-optimized (this allows for faster absorption) broad-spectrum CBD. Each jar holds an assortment of 30 fruit-flavored gummies that have no CBD aftertaste. The recommended dose is 1-2 gummies.
Wana Wellness Hemp Gummies ($19.99 for 10)
This little bottle of fruity gummies is a great way to dip into CBD. Each organic, vegan and gluten-free gummy has 25mg of broad-spectrum CBD. Available in Strawberry and Mango.
Happy Place Strawberry Zen CBD Gummies ($9.99 for 10)
If you’re more of a binger, these gummies are for you. Each gummy has a tiny bit of high-quality CBD, with the full bag containing 30mg. At that dose, you could eat the whole tasty bag! Also available in Blissful Berry and Peach Perfect.
CBD Products For the face
CBD is beneficial to the skin, too! I find that CBD-infused facial products help calm redness and reduce irritation, and my picks have a wide variety of treatment ingredients to address everything from acne to aging.
ColorUp Wash Up Facial Cleanser ($17)
This creamy, non-foaming, botanical cleanser is a dream to use on both dry and oily skin. It’s soothing, smells amazing and even removes makeup, thanks to Grapeseed & Hempseed oils.
The Still Woo Woo Water: Protection & Connection Mist ($68)
This spray essence is divine and can be used before or after makeup to prep or set, as well as to protect the skin from environmental stressors. I’ve taken to keeping it on my desk to use as a refreshing, hydrating mist during the day. The bottle is beautiful and has an amethyst crystal at the bottom to provide balance and calm.
HempFusion Acne Relief Cream ($19.99)
Formulated by a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor, this treatment cream contains a blend of Salicylic Acid 0.5% along with broad-spectrum CBD extract, to effectively address breakouts. I use it on individual breakouts, but it can also be used to treat broader problem areas. Through May 30, save 25 percent with the code TRUE25.
Fitish Roll Model ($45)
This eye serum contains a plant-based Retin alternative, CBD and Aloe, and it has a cooling roller applicator to help smooth and hydrate the delicate under-eye area. Excellent under makeup or as a night treatment.
cbdMD CBD Dynamic Serum ($79.99)
This rich and creamy serum helps to calm redness-prone skin while helping to diminish fine lines and deeply moisturize. The formula contains broad-spectrum CBD, Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, and a Botanical Infusion, which includes Elderflower and Chamomile. The serum smells great and can be used day or night, with or without a moisturizer.
B GREAT Hemp After Shave ($29.99)
If you struggle with razor rash on the face or body, this soothing serum will be your new best friend. It contains 100mg of full-spectrum Hemp per bottle to help prevent irritation. It also contains soothing ingredients, like aloe and chamomile, as well as witch hazel, which acts as a natural toner.
CBD Products For the body
CBD body products are interesting because when you apply CBD on large areas, key absorption areas, or even soak in CBD-infused products, you can reap the benefits both internally and externally.
Fleur Marché Variety, Plz. Transdermal Wellness Patches ($22 for 4)
This set of four transdermal patches is made with clean, plant-based ingredients, including USDA-organic-certified Cannabidiol and Hemp. This set includes one each of four patches, Energy, Plz. for an energy boost, Sex, Plz. to increase libido, Relief, Plz. to help with workout recovery, and Sleep, Plz. to encourage a good nights’ sleep.

Tribe Tokes Extra Strength CBD Infused Pain Cream ($70 for 2oz.)
If you’re looking to break out the big guns, try this pain cream which contains an impressive 1000mg of CBD. It’s an effective treatment for muscle aches, backaches, bruised areas, and even arthritis. It has a very mild menthol scent, with Wintergreen, Menthol, and Peppermint Oils, and feels cooling on the skin.
Qemp Nighttime Formula Topical Serum ($42.95)
This roll-on contains 375mg of CBD from whole-spectrum Hemp Extract, along with soothing, fragrant oils, like Lemongrass, Lavender, Rosemary, and Peppermint. You roll and massage it into the bottoms of your feet, wrists, and the back of your neck. It smells absolutely divine and is a wonderful way to prepare for bed. I find it to be extremely effective on those nights that I’m struggling to fall asleep.
Brown Girl Jane HEAL Whipped CBD Body Butter ($52)
This indulgent body butter contains 400mg CBD, along with soothing and nourishing ingredients, like Shea Butter, Vitamin B5, Calendula, Aloe, and Chamomile. I love the rich, non-greasy texture and that it doesn’t smell like Cannabis, which I find that many CBD-infused body creams do.
Avon Veilment CBD Dry Body Oil ($37)
If you prefer a moisturizing oil, try this lightweight skin-nourishing dry oil that contains 100mg of CBD. Non-greasy and fragrance-free, this body oil is fast absorbing, reduces redness, soothes irritation, and prevents dryness.
