This week’s muse is nationally recognized fitness coach and author, Nadia Murdock. You may recognize her from TV shows like E! News and Fox News or in print at Today.com, and Harper’s Bazaar and Life & Style. Nadia is living proof that her “train your mind, change your body” method works – she should be an inspiration to us all! After changing her own life via her own weight loss journey, she became dedicated to sharing that power with others through teaching fitness classes and her Nadia Murdock Fit programs. Nadia enjoys all forms of fitness from Barre to Zumba and never goes a day without breaking a sweat.
I can really tell when I am not getting enough sleep – it shows right through my skin.
Here are Nadia’s beauty secrets:
- “From a young age, my mother taught me to never leave the house without looking presentable. I have never, nor will I ever be caught at the supermarket with rollers in my hair! This rule actually also applies at home too. Since I work for myself there are days I could easily work in my PJ’s but I make it a point to get up and get dressed for the day, if you look good you feel good.
- In addition to drinking lots of water, which keeps my skin hydrated and complexion clear, weekly facial masks are essential. Not only are they relaxing but they also help to give my skin a boost of moisture or remove unwanted impurities depending on the type of mask. My favorites are the Farmhouse Fresh Facial Masks.
- A solid workout is my daily go-to no matter how I am feeling. I always feel amazing post workout, and exercise helps to detoxify my skin!
