9 Must-Have Beauty Products You’ll Buy Again and Again

posted in: Beauty & Wellness

While finishing and re-purchasing a product may not seem like a big deal, if you could see the traffic jam of products in my beauty closet, you’d understand. I’m fortunate to have the chance to test countless beauty products all year long, so I tend to be fairly disloyal, bouncing from product to product so I can try as many as I can. These, however, are must-have beauty products I will use to the end and purchase again when I need more:

When it comes to the best beauty products, few factors mean as much as buying a product again (and again!). Here are the products I can't live without! #beautyproducts #bestbeautyproducts #bestmakeup #besthairproducts #bestskincare #makeuponabudget #skincaretips #makeuptips #hairtips

Essie Gel Couture Color and Top Coat ($10)

My 13-year old daughter and I both paint our nails at home and this is our favorite polish. We find that it wears longer than other home gel polishes, and we love so many of the colors.  Closing Night, a soft grey, is my favorite at the moment. This is a two-step process, where Step 1 is the color and Step 2 is the top coat, but dries quickly and requires no “curing” like some gel products.

Oh My Balm! Wildly Whipped Body Butter – Oh So Lavender ($16)

This product was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad. Oh My Balm! is a NJ-based independent brand run by two moms and they sell on Etsy. They have knocked it out of the park with this ultra-luxurious, whipped body cream! I love the Lavender, which is a limited edition, and they have several other yummy scents as well. I keep the canister in my desk drawer and use where ever I’m dry, i.e. hands, feet, knees…

L’Oreal Revitalift Triple Power Face Moisturizer + Serum ($20)

You know I love a good multi-purpose product! This moisturizer/serum combo is great for normal-dry skin and works really well under makeup or at night. And it’s a TSA-approved size, so ideal for travel.

Wink Defend SPF 30 CBD Sunscreen ($34)

This broad spectrum SPF cream has saved me. I’ve developed a (very annoying) sensitivity to most sunscreen ingredients, but this one, which contains Zinc Oxide and Octinoxate, works so well for me. It’s great under makeup and doesn’t make my eyes water or cause hives, like other SPFs, and I love that it doesn’t feel heavy or leave a white residue, like most Zinc Oxide SPF’s I’ve tried. It can be used on face and body, AND it contains my favorite ingredient, CBD, which calms the skin and prevents inflammation.

Cantu Shea Butter Moisturizing Curl Activator Cream ($6)

This is my new favorite hair styling product and an amazing beauty buy. It’s rich and moisturizing but never feels greasy. It defines and controls my curls, but doesn’t feel crunchy.  It’s also great for re-activating my curls on days when I don’t wash my hair. AMAZING!

Maybelline Brow Drama ($6)

I am already a huge fan of the Maybelline Great Lash Washable Mascara – Clear, which I use on my brows as well as a mascara refresher. But, these days I’m getting a lot of greys in my brows, so I thought I would try the Brow Drama, which has a subtle tint (I use the Soft Brown). Soooo, I’m in love with that, too. Tint + hold. Yes.

Acne-Free Oil-Free Acne Cleanser ($5)

This cleanser has worked wonders for my daughter’s skin (praying she doesn’t read this – she’d be mortified!). After trying a slew of cleansing products for her pre-teen skin, this one has been the most effective at treating and preventing breakouts.  I would recommend the companion products, like the Terminator and Acne Lotion as well. They have a kit that’s worth purchasing if you or someone in your fam is struggling with breakouts.

Immunocologie Vital Clay Spot Treatment ($40)

Another mainstay for breakouts in my house. This thick clay-based mask is an excellent treatment product for existing blemishes, and it can also be used to prevent blemishes in trouble-prone areas. A little bit goes a very long way and is gentle enough for all skin types.
